THE ORGANIZATION
SLAM is organized into five committees: Service, Fundies, Public Relations, Energy, and Social. Each committee is designed to challenge its members, while providing a family within SLAM. Below is a breakdown of our committees and a glimpse into what it's like to be in each committee. Get to know them and meet the counselors!
COUNSELORS

FUNDIES
Fundies (Fundraising) helps generate the necessary funds to allow SLAM to do all that it does. Funds go toward donations to our philanthropy, social events, and much more. A few of our favorite fundraisers include our Northgate Bake Sale and our annual Slam Jam Basketball Tournament, as well as profit shares!

SERVICE
Our Service committee is dedicated to organizing our involvement in the community. SLAM has a presence in just about all major service events at Texas A&M University, as well as other events not directly affiliated with the University. Our service team is dedicated to making the Bryan/College Station community a better place.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
Public Relations (PR) is responsible for representing SLAM across all of our social media platforms as well as designing and delivering apparel throughout the year. On top of that, PR plans outreach opportunities to increase our presence on campus and in our community!

ENERGY
Energy is responsible for planning and executing our weekly meetings. This committee strives to provide fun, educational and informative meetings that will benefit the advancement and leadership of all members.

Planning and coordinating everything fun is our Social committee's duty. From organizing formals and intramurals to planning retreats and weekly events, Social brings the fun to SLAM and helps SLAM sophomores get to know each other and develop relationships.
